Uploading document still having problems

LLM keeps telling me it's processing a document, but after hours/days nothing happening.
Also, when advised it is having an issue, it keeps insisting it is doing it, even though it's clearly not.
It displays my latest comment for a moment, and then deletes it.
Could it be a problem with the size of the document?

There was an issue with our database provider on that day which has since been resolved

Tried again with a much shorter document, still having issues - but this time I get an error message rather than the LLM telling me its' not happening!
